About me
Hi !
My name is Nicolas and I’m a ceramicist based in Gatineau, Québec.
In the summer of 2021, what started as an escape from my graduate studies ended up being the start of a new passion.
My ceramic practice may best be described as nomadic : researcher at heart, I’m constantly moving in new directions, never settling, and always (re)searching and following new lines of inquiry.


Aside from ceramic, I’m a full-time graduate student.
During my master’s studies, my project aimed to examine how physical education teacher training programs contributed to the reproduction (and sometimes transformation) of discourses marked by heteronormativity, queerphobia, and sexism.
My doctoral research is centered around the process of making knowledge teachable from generation to generation in Breaking.
